Bay Pines Lutheran Church

WELS is a group of nearly 400,000 men, women, and children in nearly 1,300 congregations across the United States and Canada united by a common faith in Christ’s saving love. We are committed to a common calling—encouraging each other in our faith and sharing God’s gift of a Savior with the rest of the world.

What we believe..

Mission Statement: As men, women, and children united in faith and worship by the Word of God, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod exists to make disciples throughout the world for time and for eternity, using the gospel in Word and sacrament to win the lost for Christ and to nurture believers for lives of Christian service, all to the glory of God.

Bay Pines was founded in 1958; an elementary School, grades K – 8, was added in 1973 and is a particularly important part of our congregation. We serve people of all ages from newborn babies to those living independently or in managed care facilities.   At Bay Pines we strive to love one another as Christ loves us.  God designed the New Testament church to encourage and support all families in spiritual growth and praise.  Our strong commitment to Christian education helps us reach out to the surrounding community with the good news of the Gospel!  Each service uses an all-inclusive worship guide.

Whether for a single worship service as you pass through Seminole, or a lifetime of learning and praise, you will be welcomed into our midst by friendly, enthusiastic, energetic believers.

“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching”  (Hebrews 10:25).

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:8-10).
