Bay Pines Lutheran Church is part of a larger church body called the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).  The WELS is a group of nearly 400,000 men, women, and children in nearly 1,300 congregations across the United States and Canada united by a common faith in Christ’s saving love. We are committed to a common calling—encouraging each other in our faith and sharing God’s gift of a Savior with the rest of the world.

Bay Pines was founded in 1958.  An elementary school, grades K – 8, was added in 1973 and has been an important outreach mission of our congregation.  Pastor Jesse Stern was called in 2020 and has been serving the Lord here at Bay Pines to this present day.

Bay Pines serves people of all ages from newborn babies to those living independently or in managed care facilities.  We number roughly 400 souls and over 70 school-age children.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:8-10).
